Jack Colletto’s legs, Jonathan Smith’s gut and Oregon State’s will lead to an improbable 35-32 win over Fresno State

What is written in the final chapter that has become the legend of Oregon State’s Jack Colletto?

The Pac-12′s most versatile player – Colletto plays offense, defense and all four special teams units – was mobbed by teammates and fans after plunging into the end zone as time expired.

The Beavers escaped with their first-ever road win over Fresno State, and a 2-0 start to the season, their first since 2014.

It’s an outcome capped by Colletto but one that wouldn’t have been possible without myriad contributions.

Oregon State’s defense, stretched to the limit by Fresno State quarterback Jake Haener for most of the game

Then there’s OSU coach Jonathan Smith, who arguably made the boldest call of this young college football season.
